About Us

Welcome to Bear Dog Creations!

Hi, we’re John and Kathey—married, dog parents, and fans of travel, laughter, and all things quirky. Our shop name and logo were inspired by Kenai, our beloved Karelian Bear Dog. Although Kenai is no longer with us, his spirited personality, stubborn streak, and unforgettable antics continue to be a big part of who we are and what inspires our creations.

The pandemic reminded us to focus on what matters most: family, flexibility, and doing what we love. Today, we combine laser craft, woodworking, mixed media, and a little imagination to create unique products for you and your home.

Our designs are inspired by animals, humor, and just the right touch of sarcasm. From useful home décor to fun, giftable creations, we love making things that bring personality to everyday life—and hopefully make you smile along the way.

Kenai may no longer be by our side, but his spirit lives on in Bear Dog Creations. ❤️

Take a look around, and thanks for stopping by!
